Träd, Gräs och Stenar emerged from the late 1960s countercultural groups International Harvester and Harvester to become figureheads of Sweden’s underground rock scene. Their 1970 self-titled debut, often called the ‘green album’, was their first release under this name and remains a cornerstone of Scandinavian psychedelia.

The record captures the band’s unique fusion of free-flowing psychedelic rock with Swedish folk traditions, featuring expansive instrumentals and a striking cover of Bob Dylan’s ‘All Along The Watchtower’. Originally released in 1970, it marked the beginning of a new chapter for a group already regarded as trailblazers in their country’s experimental music culture.

Reissued here with archival material and contextual insight, the album reflects the energy and inventiveness that still resonates across generations. The band continues today as Träden, carrying forward the legacy with a new line-up built around the last original member.
